Overview:

Extended Local Operators are independent contractors who manage and grow a designated local service zone just outside of our central headquarters’ radius. They act as brand ambassadors and business developers for their local area.

They are responsible for building local brand presence, managing reputation through a dedicated Google Business Profile, and developing community relationships. They may manage one or more crews and can earn additional compensation based on the growth and success of their territory.

This role is ideal for trusted contractors seeking more opportunity without the overhead of full branch management. It remains simple in structure while creating long-term potential and incentive.

1. Territory Responsibility:

  • Covers a specific geographic zone (usually 30 minutes to 1 hour outside of our core local service area) that HQ would normally service.

     

  • Jobs will be dispatched based on operational efficiency. While operators will likely receive jobs in their assigned area, there is no guarantee of exclusive access.

     

2. Compensation Structure:

  • Extended Local Operators will operate as independent contractors and local brand ambassadors.

     

  • They are still eligible to work outside their assigned zone.

     

  • As brand ambassadors, they are responsible for:

     

    • Business development within their assigned territory

       

    • Supporting in-home or visual estimates as needed

       

    • Representing the brand in the field

       

  • For jobs completed within their assigned zone, operators will receive:

     

    • A 5% bonus on top of their standard payout for jobs they personally complete in their assigned zone

       

5. Performance & Growth:

  • Local Operators are expected to:

     

    • Maintain a high Google rating (4.9+)

       

    • Represent the brand professionally

       

    • Deliver consistent quality and team management

       

If a local zone grows beyond their individual capacity and the Operator is interested in transitioning into a full Branch Operator role, this can be negotiated at that time. In that case, the Operator could receive a portion of profit from each crew they manage and gain access to the full Branch Operator compensation structure.

6. Brand Ambassadorship & Business Development Incentives:

To strengthen ownership mindset and brand stewardship, Extended Local Operators are expected to act as local brand ambassadors. This includes:

  • Joining local networking groups or chambers of commerce

     

  • Actively participating in local Facebook groups relevant to the area

     

  • Representing the company professionally in those online spaces with support and guidance from the office

     

  • Building relationships with realtors, property managers, and community leaders

     

  • Generating organic leads and referrals from the local area

     

Incentives for Local Impact:
  • Operators will receive a $50 bonus for every 5-star review tied to their location.

     

  • Tiered review bonuses (available only if the Google Business Profile maintains a rating of 4.9+):

     

    • $1,000 when they reach 50 reviews within 6 months

       

    • $2,500 when they reach 100 reviews within 6 months

       

    • $5,000 when they reach 150 reviews within 6 months

       

    • $3,000 additional bonus when they reach 250 reviews within 12 months

       

  • Operators will receive 5% of all job revenue (for local jobs tied to business development or brand growth) generated from their assigned territory while they are contracted and for up to 12 months after they leave the company, provided the revenue is a result of relationships, reviews, or branding they helped build in that area and the location maintains a minimum 4.9 rating.

     

These incentives reward ownership mindset and encourage operators to take pride in developing their local market.

8. Earnings Example:

Work Breakdown:

  • $425,000 in total gross jobs completed over 12 months

     

  • 60% ($255,000) of those jobs in Austin at 55%

     

  • 40% ($170,000) of those jobs in the local zone at 60%

     

  • $100,000 of those jobs came through the local Google Business Profile or business development

     

  • 100 verified 5-star reviews achieved within 6 months (4.9+ Rating)
