Moving across the state or the country is a different beast than moving across town. We classify these moves in three ways: local, intrastate (within Texas), and out-of-state. Since Texas is so massive, we consider intrastate moves to be long-distance.
The biggest differentiator between us and the big national van lines is that we offer direct service. When you hire a typical van line, your belongings might get offloaded into transit storage or combined with other shipments, leading to wide delivery windows where you're stuck waiting for your stuff.
With us, we load your belongings and drive them straight to your new location.
To help save you money, we often use cargo trailers in addition to our box trucks. These trailers offer more cubic feet, allowing us to fit more into a single trip. This is a huge advantage for long-distance moves where making a second trip isn't an option and helps us avoid leaving anything behind.
If we think a van line or even a DIY solution like a POD or U-Haul would save you significant money—especially for very small moves—we will actually suggest those alternatives. We value the bottom line, but we also value honesty.
