Local Moving
Same metro, same crew. From a one-bedroom apartment to a five-bedroom estate — your move starts and ends with the same team.
A local move is not a small move. It is the move that sets the tone for everything you own — every dish, every couch, every piece of art — landing in a new home. We staff every job with the same crew that wrote the estimate, the same truck that's been on every job that week, and a foreman whose name you'll know before the truck pulls in. Hourly billing with a written estimate. No surprises.
Quick answer
Local moves are billed hourly against a written estimate — the rate depends on crew size, truck count, and access (stairs, elevators, long carries). We survey the job, put the number in writing before move day, and the BOL matches the invoice. Send your addresses and inventory for a same-day written estimate.

One crew leader from estimate to last box. No swaps, no day-of strangers.

Floor runners + door jambs + furniture wrap go on inside your home — not at the truck.
03
You see the rate, the crew size, and the time band before we book — and again the morning of.
04
Every crew member is a vetted, trained, drug-tested employee. Zero day labor.

How the move actually runs
Every local moving runs the same play — from the walkthrough to the final placement.
We do an in-person or video walkthrough, build the itemized estimate, and lock in your time band. No mystery fees on move day.
Crew arrives in branded uniforms with the right size truck. Floor runners, door jambs, blanket-and-shrink wrap on every piece before it leaves the room.
At the new home, we unload by room. Furniture is unwrapped, placed exactly where you want it, beds reassembled. Debris hauled out before we leave.
“Every move is priced on a written estimate. Same number on the BOL as on the invoice. No bait-and-switch.”
— Mike Stackable, Founder
