Honest pricing, not hidden fees.

Every quote is built from the same four levers. No bait-and-switch, no surprise day-of charges. What's on the estimate is what's on the invoice.

How we price

Four levers. Nothing else.

Every Muscleman Elite estimate is built from the same four inputs. If a line item isn't on this list, it isn't on the invoice.

Lever 01

Crew + Trucks

Two-mover, three-mover, four-mover crew rates. Larger moves take a larger crew on a larger truck — and finish faster.

Lever 02

On-site Time

The clock starts when the crew arrives at your starting address and stops when the move is complete. No drive-to-shop billing, no mileage padding, no door-to-door inflation. First truck leaves the shop at 7:30am; up to four moves are stacked per day.

Lever 03

Specialty Addenda

Pianos, safes, pool tables, items over 500 lbs. Flat-rate add-ons quoted upfront, not surprises on the truck.

Lever 04

Packing Materials

Boxes, tape, shrink wrap — only what we actually use, at-cost. Bring your own and we drop the line item entirely.

What's on the estimate is what's on the invoice. We don't add charges after the truck is loaded. The price you sign is the price you pay.

Current Pricing · Updated Quarterly

Rates by crew size.

Pick the category that matches your move. Numbers are hourly, two-hour minimum, billed in 15-minute increments after the first hour.

Packing services use the same hourly rates as moving.

Final pricing depends on additional factors that affect move time and cost.

Always Included

On every truck, every move.

These don't show as line items because they aren't line items. They're the floor — what every Muscleman Elite crew shows up with by default.

  • Furniture blankets, shrink wrap on upholstered items
  • Standard disassembly + reassembly (beds, basic tables)
  • Floor protection on hard surfaces, runner mats on carpet
  • Door-frame and corner padding on tight stairwells
  • Tape, labels, and dollies — the working tools of the move
  • Hand trucks, four-wheelers, piano boards on every truck
  • Released Value Protection (federal default coverage)
  • A licensed, background-checked, drug-tested crew

When extras apply

What changes the number.

The handful of situations where additional charges or extra hours may appear. Everything is disclosed before the truck leaves the warehouse. No day-of math problems.

Specialty Items

Pianos, safes, pool tables, and anything over 500 lbs. Flat-rate add-ons — never a surprise. (Piano pricing uses a 7-tier base + per-flight-of-stairs + per-turn structure — see the piano-movers page.)

Packing Materials

Boxes, tape, shrink wrap, when we supply them. At-cost line items, listed on the estimate before we load.

Storage

Short-term and long-term storage between move-out and move-in. Daily rates, transparent on the contract.

On-Truck Hold

When you need items held on the truck overnight or longer. Daily fee, disclosed before the truck rolls.

Readiness on Move Day

When the crew arrives, everything you're moving should be in a box. Stuff on top of dressers, full shelves, full drawers — those aren't add-on charges, but they extend the hourly clock. The crew will stay and finish; it just costs more than buying packing services up front.

Conditions We Couldn't See on the Quote

Steep driveways the truck can't reach (we shuttle to the door). Stairs not disclosed at quote time. Low-hanging trees blocking truck access. Long carries from the truck to the front door. Tell us up front and the estimate is accurate; surprise us on the day and the clock runs longer.

Two minutes in the quote tool — or one phone call. Either way you'll have a real number, not a range.
