A hot tub is 600+ lb of acrylic and plastic shell over a frame that does not love being lifted from the wrong angle. Most tubs are too wide for a doorway and too heavy for a furniture dolly. We come with custom hot tub dollies, a crew trained on the lift, and the documentation to handle insurance if it matters. Local moves, long-distance, deck-to-truck and truck-to-deck.

Risk 01
Shell cracks under spot pressure
Acrylic shells crack if lifted by their lip or stressed on a corner. We use hot tub dollies that support the underside, never the lip.
Risk 02
Doorways are usually too narrow
Most tubs are wider than a residential door. We remove door frames when necessary, or hoist over a fence.
Risk 03
Wet electrical
Hot tub electrical is high-amperage and the plumbing is foam-insulated. We coordinate with a licensed electrician at the new location.

Documentation protocol
Documented condition, both ends.

Drain + photograph
Drain the tub fully. Photograph shell and equipment before move. Disconnect electrical (coordinated with electrician if hardwired).
- 02
Lift + transport
Hot tub dolly under the shell. Custom strap pattern. Truck or trailer transport.
- 03
Place + re-deck
Lift onto the new pad or deck. Confirm level. Electrician reconnects power before fill.
