The crew loads your shipment at origin, the truck transits directly to destination, and the same crew unloads at the destination address. No warehouse staging, no shipment splitting, no carrier handoffs. Many interstate movers offer door-to-door as a premium tier; some only offer interlined service (where they hand your shipment to a partner carrier mid-route). Door-to-door is faster (24-72 hour transit vs 7-14 days), safer (no handoff damage).

Door-to-door service eliminates the highest-risk part of long-distance moving: the warehouse handoff. ~10% of long-distance moves report lost or damaged items, and most of those losses occur at the partner-carrier handoff.
